Comedian and skit maker Kennedy Odhiambo popularly known as Crazy Kennar has revealed heartbreaking news about the death of his newborn son. Crazy Kennar’s son died four days ago.
Speaking during his Happy Country event at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday, Kennar said it has been a tough time for him and his family despite him showing up for the show.
“Unfortunately my son died four days ago. It has been a very tough journey for me. We had to go through that and at the same time make the show.”

Kennar took the opportunity as a Mental Health ambassador to encourage his fans who were in attendance to check on each other and not every smiling person is happy.
“So my word as happy citizens is that whenever you see somebody walking while smiling, go and ask them if they are okay or not. Let’s be our brothers and sisters keepers let’s love one another.”
Despite the death of Crazy Kennar’s son that took place just four days ago, the comedian was able to gather himself together and go ahead with the Happy Country show that was sold out in terms of tickets.
Kennar has been planning for this show for months with the idea lingering in his mind for the past six years and according to him, it’s a dream come true as he wanted to perform live on stage.

I’ve been thinking about it for the past six years. I want to do a live show on stage. I want to actualize digital comedy into live stage comedy, a show that will have 6000 people in attendance this December.”
And to his words, the event was sold out and despite the loss of his son, he made it to his fans and actualized his dream.
