After the Palestinian Islamist group attacked Israel from Gaza, various countries and officials have released statements through social media platforms.
United States defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement, “Over the coming days the Department of Defense will work to ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself and protect civilians from indiscriminate violence and terrorism. ”
The French President, Macron also voiced in his opinion on the same saying, “I express my full solidarity with the victims, and their families and those close to them”.

The Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas has supported the attacks saying “The Palestinian people have the right to defend themselves against the “terror of settlers and occupation troops”
The Saudi Arabia foreign ministry has also called upon immediate cease fire of the violence witnessed in Israel. The statement read: “We are following the unprecedented developments between a number of Palestinian factions and Israel occupation forces which has led to a high level of violence on a number of fronts”
Other countries and officials have also issued statements in respect to what they believe. The British Foreign Minister James Cleverly condemned the horrific attack against Israel. “The UK unequivocally condemns the horrific attacks by Hamas on Israeli civilians. The UK will always support Israel’s right to defend itself. ”
Speaking on X, Formerly Twitter, The President of European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen said: “I unequivocally condemn the attack carried out by Hamas terrorists against Israel. It is terrorism in its most despicable form. Israel has the right to defend itself against such heinous attacks.”
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human rights has called upon Israel to avood civilian casualties in her response to Hamas attacks. In a statement he said “This attack is having a horrific impact on Israeli civilians,” Volker Tuerk said in a statement. “Civilians must never be the target of attack.”
