A CCTV footage has revealed how a Nairobi based businessman was shot and robbed off Ksh. 4M in Eastleigh area in a daring daylight robbery.
In the CCTV footage that has now gone viral on social media, two assailants on a motorbike intercepted the businessman, who has since been identified as Adan Ali Mohamed. Adan was also on a motorbike heading to deposit money at a bank at BBS Mall.
However, along the way, the two attackers intercepted the businessman pull out a Firearm and shot at the businessman before snatching him the bag of money he was carrying.

Reports indicate that the ammount of cash that was in the bag which the shooters made away with was approximately Ksh3.97 million leaving Adan in critical condition after being shot.
The incident that has now caused tension among the business community in Eastleigh has attracted officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) who arrived at the scene, assessed the situation and gathered evidence for processing.
Eastleigh, which serves as one of the biggest business hub in the city has reported high crime rates despite being surrounded by more than four police stations and camps that should be beefing up security.
Among police posts surrounding the area include Pangani Police Station, Eastleigh North Police Station, Eastleigh Airbase Administration Police Camp, California Police Post, and Moi Air Base.

This has however not prevented the daring criminals from attacking at will and even managing to shoot and get away with the loot without getting intercepted.
Currently, the situation of Adan Ali Mohamed remains unknown as he was rushed to hospital for further treatment. Police are yet to locate the perpetrators of the crime.
