Calls for Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika’s Impeachment are fueling on after the Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja backed the move to have her fellow UDA counterpart kicked out of office.
According to the Senator, Kihika is acting against her people who elected her to office. This comes after she sent officers to raid War Memorial Hospital which has left tens of patients unattended to and one person dead.
This according to Karanja are enough reasons to back the ouster of the first time Nakuru Governor who took over from Lee Kinyanjui in 2022.

“The land lease by the hospital is genuine as some people want to take over this prime land. It is time MCAs acted as there are enough grounds for impeachment.”
Tabitha pointed out that it’s her oversight duty and according to her, apart from ignoring a court order currently in place, Susan Kihika is inhumane as she pushes for property ownership as families and their loved ones continue to suffer out of neglect.
The Senator also accused Kihika of embezzlement as she called on relevant authorities to storm the Nakuru County offices and countercheck her allegations as she is not interested in the gubernatorial position rather doing her oversight job.
“We are calling on EACC, DCI and the relevant government agencies to investigate how public funds are being used as we fear there is massive embezzlement. I will continue to perform my oversight role with zeal and passion without fear or favour because I have the mandate of the great people of Nakuru county.”
