A bus carrying members of a church heading to easter celebration has fallen off a bridge in South Africa, killing 45 worshippers on the spot.
According to reports, the bus fell off 50M down the bridge after it crashed through a bridge barrier and immediately caught fire upon hitting the ground down the bridge in north-eastern Limpopo province.
Reports indicate that there was an eight-year-old girl who was the only survivor in the accident but was rushed to hospital with serious injuries that she sustained on the accident

Police report thar the passengers were worshippers travelling from Botswana’s capital Gaborone to an Easter service in the town of Moria to celebrate the easter activities before the unfortunate incident.
The vehicle lost control and went off a bridge on the Mmamatlakala mountain pass between Mokopane and Marken, around 300km (190 miles) north of Johannesburg, according to South African public broadcaster SABC.
South Africa Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga, who went to the scene of the incident, extended her “heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the tragic bus crash.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,. We continue to urge responsible driving at all times with heightened alertness as more people are on our roads this Easter weekend.”

She however said that the South African government would help repatriate the bodies and hold a full inquiry into the cause of the crash that claimed the huge number of people.
The eight year old girl is reported to be in intensive care unit as doctors work round the clock to save her life as the only survivor in the unfortunate accident. The extent of the injuries are said to be severe.
