Activist Bob Njagi and the two Kitengela Brothers have finally broken their silence just hours after their abductors released them just few hours past midnight.
Speaking in a video posted by Law Society of Kenya President Faith Odhiambo, the two brothers confirmed that they are safe and were released at few hours past midnight before finding where to charge their phones.
According to the two, they were released in the middle of a forest in Gachie, between Nairobi and Kiambu and they walked barefoot to the first estate, where they sought help, charged their phones and communicated to their family.

“I want to thank Kenyans for standing with us. We have been released today at Gachie at the forest and we walked to a nearby estate where we were able to charge our phones and communicated with our family about our release,” said the two visibly shaken.
However, the two Kitengela brothers said that more details about their capture and release will be communicated through the Law Society of Kenya President Faith Odhiambo Bob Njagi was also released according to the latest reports.
Njagi is said to have beeen released at Gachie too at around 1 AM before he found his way to Tigoni Police Station where he sought assistance. He is with his family and has thanked everyone for speaking up about their capture.
