The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has yet again listed specific areas in the country that will experience power blackout on Sunday.
This comes after a series of power outages with the major ones occurring across the country. This has forved a lot of questions in the lighting company as to why the country continues to experience power blackouts.

Areas To Experience Power Blackout On Sunday.
NAIROBI REGION:- Chogoria Road, Industrial Area.
APS Limited, P Square industries limited, Samurai, Mash poa warehouse, Pioneer plumbers limited, Carm Max auto spares, Ramraj Complex, and adjacent customers.
PARTS OF MATHARE:
Marhare North Area 1, Area 2and Area 3, Naivas Outering Road, Shell Petrol Station, Outering Road and Adjacent customers in the areas mentioned above.
HURUMA AREA.
Moi Forces Academy, Nissi Petrol Station, Redeemed Church Huruma and adjacent customers around the areas mentioned above.

KISII COUNTY.
BOTORI AND CHRISTAMARIANNE AREAS.
Botori, Soko Mjinga, Daraja Mbili Market, Nyanchwa Police Post, Nyaboke Flats, Nyanchwa Girls Secondary school, Ekerore, Treasury Kisii County government, Christamarianne Hospital, Kisii Sports Club, Rangi Mbili, Kisii State Lodge and adjacent customers in the surrounding areas.
The power outage according to Kenya Power and Lighting Company will be off from 8 AM to 5 PM in the evening and customers are advised to prepare accordingly

This comes after the government through President William Ruto promised to end Power Blackouts across the country once and for all. In a meeting with the cabinet secretaries, an approval of Ksh. 66 Billion was passed to cater for solutions of power blackouts.
