Days after John Kiarie apologised to kenyans and Gen Z for voting yes for the controversial Finance Bill 2024, another UDA MP, has followed suit amid hostile ground.
Turkana Central MP Joseph Namuar has issued an apology to kenyans in high regret for voting in favor of the Finance Bill, just a day after President William Ruto withdrew the bill.

Speaking to the press, the MP said that he has learnt his lesson and is therfore sincerely asking for forgiveness from his constituents. The MP also commended President Ruto for declining to approve the bill entirely.
“If by any means we made a mistake, we the MPs who voted YES to the Finance Bill ask for forgiveness. And just the way the president called for a dialogue, we as the president’s soldiers, ask for forgiveness on your behalf.”
This comes as the Kenya Kwanza MPs and those who voted for the bill continue facing hostile reception from their electorates with others reporting vandalism in their offices and homes in their respective counties.
John Kiarie was the first legislature from the Kenya Kwanza group to come out and apologise to kenyans and especially Gen Z protesters for provoking them and making unnecessary statements.
“I am sincerely sorry for any provocation, hurt or confusion my words may have caused. I definitely have learnt a lot from this and also from all the active listening and engagements that I have been doing this weekend.”
