Amabuko Secondary School in Kisii is the latest school to record an Unknown illness that has led students to be admitted. This comes after other schools like Eregi and Mukumu girls recorded the same earlier this year.

Mukumu girls also experienced the same case that forced the school to be closed immediately. Students experienced severe diarrhoea that claimed 4 students. This saw 124 students hospitalised and among the deceased is one teacher.
