Another Member Of Parliament has been involved in an accident days after current Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah was involved in the same ordeal.
According to reports, Igembe South Member of Parliament John Paul Mwirigi was on Tuesday noon involved in an accident in Chuka, Meru County.
However, none of the iccupants were hurt in the process but appeared to be shaken after the incident. It’s yet to be established if the MP was behind the wheel or his personal driver.

Police officers promptly arrived at the scene minutes later and could be seen combing the scene to establish what had caused the accident. The vehicle’s front was deformed and its lights shattered. The tyres were also deflated as well.
Reports indicate that the area on which the MP was involved in the accident has recorded 3 major accidents in the recent past culminating in the loss of lives, thus terming its as a blackspot in Chuka.
This comes three days after Okiya Omtatah went through a similar ordeal along the Kisumu- Busia highway over the weekend after being involved in an accident.

The accident which occurred in the Ojolla area involved a trailer which lost control and rammed into the legislator’s car. Narrating the incident, the Senator explained that he swerved after realising the trailer had lost control, noting that he was lucky to have narrowly escaped death.
The popular legislator noted he was able to head home safely after the incident with no issues whatsoever.
However, the Igembe South MP is yet to comment on the matter as he has not released an official statement yet.
