Another kenyan lady has been reported dead in Canada 3 days after landing in the country. The 46 year old who was seeking shelter is said to have died of cold
According to reports, the kenyan lady who has been identified as Delphina Ngigi arrived at the Mississauga Refugee Camp to seek asylum but was denied access because it was full to capacity.
The camp located at Dundas Street is said to have allowed Ngigi into the facility later on on Saturday 17th and she was offered a place to sleep after spending hours in the cold.

However, On the following day (Sunday) she collapsed after her health deteriorated and was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The camp managers have so far been faulted for denying the woman access into the facility for shelter, with several lobby groups consisting of Africans demanding justice for the deceased.
“We are standing in solidarity with the Kenyan community and our sister whom we failed to do our part as Canadians and allow such stories to continue,” a member of the GTA, Africa-Canada lobby group informed the press.
Ngigi is said to have arrived in Canada three days before her death. According to reports, she was a widow and mother of four children who all live in Kenya as she travelled to Canada.
This comes after another lady was reported dead four days after landing in Ireland. Reports suggest that the lady arrived in the country and got wind of another relationship her partner was in and committed suicide upon finding out.
This continues to be a worrying trend of kenyans mysteriously being reported dead days after landing in foreign countries. Kenyans are so far asked for the government’s response over the same.
