Another gang leader has been killed weeks after his fellow leader was also gunned down by Haiti Police,reports can now confirm.
The leader known as New York was killed on Tuesday alongside four other gang members after they engaged the police in a gun battle that saw the four succumb to gun injuries.
The gang leader and his four associates had taken over an hospital to protect themselves against the police. However, this did not deter the police officers who were determined to eliminate the gang that was causing terror among citizens.

The operation was backed by the vigilante group, a blend of civilians and police officers who have joined in the efforts to neutralise the gangs which led to New York being killed on the spot.
This comes just weeks after another leader known as Makandal was gunned down by police in a similar fashion after city residents joined hands with the police in attacking the gang leader and his associates.
The killings also comes just a week after the top gang leader known as Berbecue warned against the Kenyan police deployment to the war torn nation citing external interference of Haiti affairs.
Barbecue declared that he would regard Kenyan police as aggressors and invaders, stating that he would not relent as he believed the Kenyan officers were coming to interfere with Haiti’s independence
However, both involved parties including the kenyan government has vowed to continue with the planned deployment saying that the deployment has to continue for the sake of Haitians who need help against the gangs.

The police however continue to attack and gun down more gang leaders with a second one going down in a span of two weeks, showing major peogress against the gangs.
