Another Gen Z protester who was abducted from Githurai in the wee hours of Monday morning was found dumped in Roysambu with head injuries.
Paul Mwangi was among protesters who led other youths against the controversial Finance Bill last week. He was busted in his home in Githurai by people suspected to be police officers.

Law Society of Kenya President Faith Odhiambo announced his release after his team found Paul Mwangi dumped in Roysambu and took him to hospital for specialised treatment before announcing that he was now stable.
“He was rushed to the hospital where he received treatment before being taken home. Mwangi’s cut was not as deep as expected and only required a few bandages to seal up the wound.”
In a video that has since gone viral, Paul Mwangi was seen shaken with bandages on his head that was partially shaved for easy stitching. Mwangi was also unable to speak at the time of rescue with doctors suspecting was due to the ordeal he went through.
Reports indicate that Mwangi was dragged from his house at 5 AM on Monday, thrown into a car and taken to an unknown location by unknown people before he was later released and dumped in Roysambu.
It’s not yet clear what his abductors wanted from him and what they told him because he was unable to speak to the press. Mwangi adds to the number of recent abductions that have been condemned and associated with government.
