Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has broken his silence over a viral video of woman insulting a nurse claiming to know him.
According to reports, the video was taken at Port Victoria hospital in Busia County, where the woman and man were seen harassing hospital staff over what they termed as failure to attend to a patient.
In the video, the woman is heard claiming he will call Ababu while throwing files on the floor and hitting a table as she insulted the nurse for allegedly not attending to her patient first.
“I have a right, let me call Ababu, this is how you kill people here, we have a patient in the emergency she cannot breathe.”
Addressing the said video, Ababu Namwamba has said that he Condemns the behaviour and will take necesactions against the woman invoking his name in such a confrontation.
“The actions associated with me do not align with my values or commitment to public service. I unequivocally condemn any behavior against principles of integrity. I am thoroughly investigating these allegations and will take decisive actions to rectify any wrongdoing.”

The video which has been the talk of social media after it went viral has linked the Sports Cabinet Secretary to the woman who claims she knows people (Ababu) in high places who she can call.
This forced Ababu Namwamba who hails from the same county that the video was taken (Busia) to take to his social media account to address the concerns that were linking him to the woman in the video.
He however hasn’t denied or accepted to know the woman as he has said that he will conduct an investigation into the matter before taking decisive actions.
